Christmas markets are must-attend events to add magic to the most glittering time of the year. There are many events in Tuscany, where you can shop and breathe in the holiday atmosphere, from November to January.

Markets of Arezzo
The event that animates the streets of the historic center of Arezzo is really called “Città del Natale” and hosts a Tyrolean market with more than 25 stalls of northern Italian products (open to the public daily), workshops for children, Santa’s house and an ice skating rink and Frozen village. Other Christmas markets are held in St. Jacopo Square and Risorgimento Square.

Markets of Empoli
Once again this year at Christmas, Empoli is transformed: the entire historic center becomes “The City of Christmas” with an ice skating rink, an artificial snowfall every weekend, the tourist train, scenic illuminations and many other things. Lots of booths of small handicrafts, tree decorations, toys and various Moroccan goods.

Markets of Montepulciano
Montepulciano at Christmas time transforms into a Christmas village that looks like something out of a fairy tale, with Christmas markets (free admission) with sixty wooden cottages and themed decorations where you will find handicrafts, food specialties, decorations and gifts. Markets in Pisa and Livorno
In Pisa at the Palazzo dei Congressi, a Christmas Market is held with children’s entertainment and a graceful reconstruction of Santa’s house, Factory and post office. In addition to the classic markets and skating rink you will find in Vittorio Emanuele II Square.
When? 25 november 2023 – 6 january 2024
In Livorno not only Villa Fabbricotti. Cavour Square will also be colored with Christmas colors thanks to the market, organized by Labronica Eventi. There will be numerous 20 booths in the square, ready to let passersby taste their products including: craft beers, chestnuts and even mulled wine.
