The theme of the meeting will be charity to benefit the local HOLTRE association, which cares for children and youth with disabilities and autism. Also participating in the event will be the Turin-based national association AMA.LE, which deals instead with children with a very rare genetic mutation disease.
The desire is to raise awareness among the guests to make an active contribution to helping these children and their related associations that are egregiously involved in helping and making life better for the disabled and their families.
The event, by invitation and already sold out, will take place at “Tenuta La Macchia,” where we will host a dinner in the vineyard. After a welcome aperitif enlivened by the music of a DJ set (the DJ will be a disabled boy from the HOLTRE association), thanks to Chef Gabriella Pizzi of the restaurant Aia della Vecchia di Nibbiaia, who has lent herself to honor us with her presence and active participation, we will have the opportunity to attend a show cooking with an exceptional menu. Christian, owner and winemaker of the estate will instead lead us in a tasting of their fine wines paired with the menu. Kids from the associations will be part of the table service. At the end of dinner we will watch a fireworks display, dancing among the vineyards to the music of the DJ. Our photographer will film the evening and souvenir photos will be available. The proceeds from the photos will go totally to charity.
We will have outstanding guests from the world of oenology and food and beverage, well-known entrepreneurs, local and international personalities.
The event will be fully subsidized by us with the invaluable help of Tenuta la Macchia, which will provide wine for the evening as a charity. Guests will be asked for a contribution in the form of a minimum offering, which will be donated entirely to the charities. We hope and will solicit guests in order that in their good hearts and pockets contribute more to the charitable spirit of the evening. For those who wish, it will be possible to purchase wine from the estate and part of the proceeds will also be donated.
The evening will presumably begin around 7:30 p.m. with an aperitif, ending by midnight.
All participants will be left with a t-shirt as a memento of the evening.
The event will have media prominence on social channels and press releases; the desire is that it will have media resonance and can be repeated and expanded with regular time cadences to give more support to the associations.
